Annalise Loucks
Annalise Loucks, Education and Prevention Specialist, is currently earning dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science, along with a Pre-Law certificate from Fort Hays State University. Following her undergraduate studies, she plans to attend law school with the long-term goal of advocating for and defending victims of sex trafficking, domestic abuse, and sexual assault.
In her role at Jana's Campaign, Annalise is responsible for creating, coordinating, and delivering educational programs aimed at preventing domestic and dating violence, sexual violence, and stalking. Her work will encompass initiatives in middle and high schools, as well as broader community-based programs.
On campus, Annalise is actively involved with the Center for Empowering Victims of Gender Based Violence (CEVGV), a university-based research and service organization. Her work focuses on the root causes of gender-based violence in rural areas, campus victim advocacy, and strategies to break cycles of abuse and violence. Under the mentorship of Dr. Ziwei Qi, founder of CEVGV, she presents research findings at academic and professional conferences.
Driven by the need for social change and justice, she is passionate about supporting survivors, creating safer environments, and informing communities. Apart from school and work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, traveling, and a good true crime podcast.
