Elsie Chartier

Picture
Elsie Chartier was born and raised in Hays, Kansas. She enjoys Hays so much that she decided to stay and attend college at Fort Hays State University. She is majoring in Social Work with a minor in Criminal Justice. The main focuses for her future work in social work are children, families, mental health, and advocating for victims of domestic and relationship violence.

Elsie has been an active member of Jana’s Campaign through the Youth Advisory Council for about five years now. Through her work with the Youth Advisory Council, she peer-facilitated Bystander Intervention Trainings at Hays High School. She is also a middle school cheer coach. In her free time, Elsie enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, watching TV, traveling, and watching her brothers play sports.
