2026 Knowledge is Power: Prevention Fundraising Initiative
At Jana’s Campaign, we believe education has the power to change lives. When young people learn how to build healthy relationships, recognize common warning signs of abuse, and safely intervene, they become part of the solution. Prevention starts with knowledge.
This fall, we’re proud to launch our 2026 Knowledge is Power: Prevention Fundraising Initiative, a community-wide effort to raise $100,000 by December 31 to expand and support relationship-based violence prevention education across Kansas and beyond. In 2025, we reached an important milestone: more than 100,000 K-12 students directly impacted through prevention education since 2013. While we're proud of this achievement, we know the need for prevention has never been greater. Every school we visit and every classroom conversation reminds us that there is more work to do.
Through the Knowledge is Power initiative, you're helping equip students, educators, counselors, administrators, parents, and communities with the knowledge and skills to prevent relationship-based violence before it begins.
Part 1: Back to School - $30,000
As students return to classrooms this fall, so do we. The beginning of the school year is one of the most important opportunities to reach young people with education that can shape their relationships for years to come. Schools continue to request our programming, and your support ensures we can meet that growing demand.

Part 2: Empty Place at the Table - $65,000
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, we invite you to join us for the 14th Annual Empty Place at the Table at Midnight Ranch, just North of Hays, Kansas.
This year's 80s Prom theme promises an evening of fun, connection, and celebration. Together, we'll honor Jana's legacy, celebrate the progress we've made, and invest in a future where every young person can experience healthy, respectful relationships.
Part 3: End-of-Year Giving - $5,000
As we close out 2026, your year-end gift will help us begin 2027 with momentum.
Every contribution strengthens prevention education in schools, colleges, and communities, ensuring more young people have access to the knowledge and skills they need to build healthy relationships and prevent violence before it begins. Every day, we hear from students, educators, parents, and community members about the impact of this work. Those stories are possible because of supporters like you.
Together, we have already reached more than 100,000 students. Together, we can reach thousands more.
