Suzanna Schneider

Suzanna Schneider is the Summer 2024 Intern at Jana’s Campaign, Inc. In her role, Suzanna works on projects with the other team members and is eager to share the knowledge she learns from the internship. Suzanna is an undergraduate student at Fort Hays State University (FHSU) studying Criminal Justice. She is a member of the Center for Empowering Victims of Gender-based Violence, housed at FHSU, where she has been researching the lack of resources in rural areas for survivors of gender-based violence.

Suzanna is passionate about empowering victims of gender-based violence and aspires to become a survivor-centered victim advocate. Suzanna’s academic journey has encompassed diverse courses, including but not limited to women and crime, victim advocacy, and gender, race, and inequality studies. Suzanna is also the president of the Student Research Cluster: Combatting Gender-based Violence. Suzanna has a deep love for her family, friends, dogs, and is very excited for this opportunity. ​
